Building Effective Organisations
What is your organisational effectiveness – or in other words, how well are your organisation enabled to meet your organisational goals?
All companies are both alike and very different. This means that you can find patterns of organisation that seems to work for many companies, but since they are also very different many patterns might not work at all for your specific context.
This training
This training will give you a strategic and systematic approach to be a more impactful organisation, by finding the best patterns for your organisation and show how you can level up your organisational effectiveness to the next level.
In the training we will use different lenses such as Frederic Laloux’s Reinventing Organisations, Bob Marshall’s The Marshall Model and Integral’s Stages of Organisationsto find the matching patterns and learn the principles that will be best for your organisation to focus on. You know your organisation best, so you will based on this find the actions to take.
Which actions to take is based on your context, so we will look at adult developmental models for understanding how an action would land amongst your coworkers.
This often leads to a need of transforming the organisation to the next level to achieve the wanted effectiveness. The training will take you through the Holistic Transformationapproach, based on several well-tested transformation models such as Kotter’s 8-Step for Change, Lewin’s 3 Stages, Lippit-Knoster Model for Managing Complex Change and Hyltefors’ Peaceful Transformation, all which fit different contexts.
Outcomes of the training
One context might be that you have tried SAFe, and realised it doesn’t give the impacts you were hoping for. But, maybe you’ve also tried a more Agile approach before and that didn’t fly either. This training will give you the perspectives needed to see what might actually work in your organisation, what would land well with your co-workers and how to move further ahead.
After this training (and transformation) your organisation will for instance have a stronger shared purpose and more effective evidence-based decisions, which will lead to intrinsic motivation from the whole company which in turn leads to better goals and better goal completion as well as consistently high quality of output.
Who is this training for
This training is for company leaders, line managers, product leaders and other people in charge for organising the work and the people in the organisation as well as organisational developers who would like to get new perspectives.
